I called in to say I was going to be out of town a few days, and to see about having my mail held until I was back in town. The man knew who I was and said he would take care of it. I came back to find not only had my mail NOT been held at the Post Office, but that my temperature sensitive eye drops had sat in the 90 plus degree heat for 3 days and was ruined. I had to pay more a replacement bottle and upon complaining to the Postmaster, they essentially shrugged their shoulders, denied that I had called about holding my mail and made no offer to recompense me for my financial loss. I find their attitude disgusting and repugnant.
